Since its inception in 2010, Elegant Media continues to have deep rooted connections to the Monash community and its efforts were recently rewarded with a 2025 Monash Business Award for Innovation & Technology!

Central to Elegant Media’s community outreach is their comprehensive internship programme, specifically designed for students in the Monash area. This initiative reflects the Company’s belief that nurturing local talent is essential for sustaining innovation in Australia’s technology sector.
The Monash Area Internship Programme
Elegant Media’s internship programme serves as a bridge between academic learning and real-world application, offering students invaluable opportunities. Since 2018, we’ve had around 90 interns participate in our programme. Out of those, 10 have been offered full-time roles based on their performance and fit within the company.
The programme is open to students from various disciplines within the Monash area, including computer science, software engineering, design, and business students interested in technology entrepreneurship.
Supporting Local Talent in Monash
Elegant Media’s commitment extends beyond traditional internships. Their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives also focus on creating pathways for local talent development, recognising that investment in education creates a stronger ecosystem for everyone.
In this regard, the Company furthermore extends its responsibility to the local community by supporting the work of children’s charity The Smith Family through monthly donations.
The Smith Family’s Learning for Life Programme helps disadvantaged students fulfill their potential with critical support for learning, ensuring an equitable future for those from less fortunate backgrounds.
